What is the age range you accept?
Two years through six years old. Child must be 2 years old to begin.
What happens if my child turns two just after your school start date?
Any child that turns two just after our August start date can start on or after their 2nd birthday and will have to pay to save the space.
Can I go on a school tour?
Absolutely! We are now doing weekly school tours during August through April. Call the office to schedule one (323-254-3027).
How big is your school and how many students are there?
The ERMS campus has three buildings in operation and is home to up to 148 students.
What is your enrollment process like?
1. Sign up for a school tour by calling the office.
3. Submit an application (we will send to you).
4. If offered a space, register & pay deposit fees.
Where do I sign up for the Wait List?

Does it cost anything to get on the wait list?
We charge a non-refundable $100 Waitlist fee.
Why do you charge a fee to be on your wait list?
It is the only way for us to guage if you are seriously considering our school. We track every waitlisted family through our online portal.
Do you go year round?
Yes. We have a 10 month school year from Aug - May and summer weekly programs from June & July.
How do your tuition payments work?
Our school year runs from August through May. Tuition is billed in 10 equal monthly installments, regardless of the number of school days in a given month. This means your monthly tuition payment remains the same whether a month includes holidays, breaks, or a different number of attendance days. Summer weekly tuition is billed separately.
What are the school's operating hours?
Our full day classroom hours operate from 8-2:30pm with daycare options til 4pm.
Is your summer program available to the public?
No. Our summer program is for currently enrolled students only.
What do I pack my child for lunch?
Please provide a healthy lunch for your child. We also ask that you think about the environment while packing your child's lunch. Thermoses and reusable containers will help reduce our carbon footprint.
What do you serve for snack?
We provide a healthy snack which includes stone wheat crackers, pretzels, cheese, and fruits or vegetables.
Does my child have to be toilet trained?
If your child is over the age of three, yes. Children under 3, entering our pre-primary classroom are not required to be toilet trained (but they will be).
What do I do during emergency situations or
natural disasters (earthquakes, etc.)?
Breathe and take comfort in knowing that current students have gone through monthly fire and earthquake drills. Please pick up your child, but only when safe.
Is there on-site parking?
Yes! But not much. We have a dedicated parking lot on the SW corner of Colorado Blvd. and Mt. Helena. Please follow all traffic and safety laws.
